Full-Motion Flight Simulator Manufacturer
Who builds full-motion flight simulators at FSDC Aerosolutions? FSDC Aerosolutions is a flight simulator manufacturer based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, operating as the simulator and synthetic training systems division of Aerosolutions (Pvt.) Ltd. We design and build full-motion 6-DOF electric flight simulators — cockpit replica, control loading, motion platform, visual system and Instructor Operating Station — engineered around the customer's aircraft, syllabus and qualification target.
What we build
FSDC manufactures full-motion flight simulators end to end — from requirements capture through to factory acceptance, installation and lifecycle support. Each simulator is engineered around a specific aircraft type and customer syllabus, then validated by type-rated instructor pilots before delivery.
Core subsystems we engineer in-house
6-DOF electric motion platform
FSDC builds full-motion simulators on electric 6-DOF motion platforms. Electric drives deliver faster response, lower noise, lower energy use and lower maintenance overhead than legacy hydraulic systems. The platform supports continuous 360° yaw rotation and integrates motion cueing with the visual scene so onset cues feel like the aircraft.
1:1 cockpit replica
The cockpit shell is a full-scale replica of the target aircraft — instruments, switches, throttle quadrant, control yoke / stick / collective / cyclic, rudder pedals, seats and visibility geometry all match the real cockpit so cockpit muscle memory transfers directly.
Control loading
Active control loading drives realistic forces on the pilot controls. Stick force per g, breakout, friction, trim wheel behaviour and stiff-control conditions all match the target aircraft — with peak forces up to 2 000 N where the type requires it.
Visual system
FSDC supports multi-projector COTS dome / collimated visual systems with wide field of view, as well as HMD-based photoreal mixed-reality visuals through the AeroMix architecture. Custom airport scenery, terrain databases and weather are authored and configurable from the IOS.
Instructor Operating Station
The IOS is the instructor's cockpit. From a multi-touch console adjacent to the cockpit, the instructor injects failures, freezes / repositions / resets the aircraft, manages weather and time of day, controls traffic, monitors live flight parameters and replays sessions for debrief.
What our manufacturing programme covers
- Requirements capture. Aircraft type, training syllabus, qualification target, facility constraints.
- Flight model engineering. Performance, aerodynamics, propulsion, systems — built from data and validated by type-rated pilots.
- Cockpit hardware design. 1:1 cockpit shell, instruments, switches, control hardware.
- Avionics emulation. Functional emulation of avionics suites and mission systems where applicable.
- Visual database creation. Airports, terrain, scenery and weather profiles specific to the operating area.
- Motion platform integration. 6-DOF electric platform integrated with flight model and visual scene.
- Instructor Operating Station. Scenario library, emergency injection, environment control, parameter monitoring, session replay.
- Factory acceptance. Documented test against requirements, with customer pilots in the loop.
- On-site installation. Mechanical install, alignment, commissioning, operator training.
- Lifecycle support. Preventive maintenance, software updates, visual database additions, hardware upgrades. See lifecycle support.
Where we operate from
FSDC Aerosolutions is based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with engineering, manufacturing and customer support delivered from the same site. We deliver to aviation academies, defence operators and training centres across Pakistan and internationally.
Why customers choose a Pakistan-based manufacturer
- Capital efficiency. Competitive manufacturing economics vs Western OEM equivalents at comparable fidelity.
- Engineering ownership. Flight model, cockpit hardware, control loading, motion and software all engineered in-house.
- Regional support. Local time-zone engineering, regional spares supply and faster on-site response for customers in Pakistan, the Middle East and South Asia.
- Customisation. Custom airframes and mission scenarios are part of normal scope, not an exception.

Frequently asked questions
What does a full-motion flight simulator manufacturer do?
Designs and builds synthetic training devices that combine a cockpit replica, control loading, a 6-DOF motion platform, a photoreal visual system and an Instructor Operating Station — engineered and validated against a specific aircraft type.
Where is FSDC Aerosolutions based?
Rawalpindi, Pakistan. FSDC is the simulator and synthetic training systems division of Aerosolutions (Pvt.) Ltd.
Which aircraft does FSDC build full-motion simulators for?
Mushshak MFI-17, Super Mushshak, AS-350 / H125, Mi-17 and Enstrom 280-FX are current production configurations. Custom fixed-wing and rotary-wing simulators are built to order.
Is the motion platform electric or hydraulic?
Electric — quieter, more efficient and easier to maintain than legacy hydraulic systems, with continuous 360° yaw.
Do you handle installation and after-sales support?
Yes — factory acceptance, on-site installation, training, lifecycle maintenance, software updates, visual database additions and hardware upgrades.
How do we request a proposal?
